Que é?

Un pad é un documento de texto colaborativo editado en liña. As contribucións de cada usuaria sinálanse usando unha cor diferente, aparecen na pantalla en tempo real e grávanse ao ir escribindo.

  • e convida a outras persoas a colaborar.
  • Cada participante distínguese pola súa cor
  • e pode conversar co grupo.
  • Se fose preciso, podes restaurar unha versión anterior desde o historial
  • e cando rematedes, expórtao.

Documentos privados

Tes a posibilidade de crear unha conta protexida por contrasinal e ter un espazo dedicado para xestionar os teus pads e controlar o acceso aos mesmos.

Limitacións

Os documentos públicos teñen unha vida útil limitada para evitar o crecemento indefinido da base de datos.
A data de caducidade está definida tendo en conta a data da última modificiación do documento.
Para conservar os teus documentos, considera utilizar o menú Importar/Exportar.

The Framapad is free, without ads or click traps. Our goal is to host a tool that serves you and does not use you.

Contrary to the adage, here, you are not the product.

Controlling your data

Framasoft collects as little data as possible.

You have complete autonomy over it.

We have no interest in tracking your behaviour, nor in exploiting it.

Respecting your freedoms

Framapad is based a Free-libre software¹. Its code is transparent, publicly auditable and there are no hidden features.

It is built by the community, and everyone is free to fork it and lead the project in new directions.

Framapad is an installation of the free software Etherpad on the Framasoft servers. Its free license allows you to study its code, contribute to it and install it on your own server.

Behind a service like Framapad there is a political proposal: exploring an alternative to surveillance capitalism by experimenting with the contribution society.

By offering uses, feedback and contributions to Etherpad, we participate in maintaining the vibrancy of a common resource.

Who is behind Framapad?

Framapad is proposed by a French not-for-profit association: Framasoft

Created in 2004, the association is now dedicated to popular education on the challenges of the digital age and the cultural commons. Our small structure (39 including 11) is known the De-google-ify Internet project (16 ethical and alternative online tools) and for the development of PeerTube, Mobilizon, etc. Recognized as being of general interest Framasoft is funded at 93% by your donations, which are tax deductible for French taxpayers.

  • Recurring donations can be stopped anytime, just ask us.
  • If you want to modify your recurring donation, please contact us, we will stop the current one and you will be able to make a new one.
  • Tax receipts (in France only) are sent by postal mail in March/April 2025 (before tax declaration) for 2024 donations
